    My name is Christine Brookins, and I am delighted to welcome you and your child to the new school year. With 31 years of experience in education, I currently serve as the ISD (In-School Detention) Teacher at Yazoo County High School. Being a native of Yazoo County and a proud graduate of Benton High School, I am deeply committed to the success and well-being of our students.

    In-School Detention is a supportive environment where students have the opportunity to reflect on their actions, develop better behavior patterns, and continue their academic progress. Our goal is to help students learn from their mistakes, make positive changes, and succeed both academically and personally.
