Student Attendance

    At Linwood Elementary, every school day is a valuable learning opportunity! When students attend regularly and arrive on time, they are more likely to stay on track, build strong academic skills, and feel connected to their school community.

  • Student Absence Information

    An excuse must be turned in for every full day that your child is absent from school upon their return. You may turn in a doctor's excuse, write a note with the following information included or you may fill out the absence form below and it will be sent in automatically. 

    For admittance after an absence at Linwood Elementary, each student is asked to submit an excuse.  For an absence to be considered excused, a note should be submitted with the following:
    • Date written
    • Date(s) of the absence
    • Cause of absence
    • Parent/legal guardian's name and phone number. 

    Parents/Students have three days to submit excuses upon returning to the school.
