Welcome Letter to Parents and Students

    Dear Parents and Students,

I am thrilled to introduce myself as your Special Education Teacher at Yazoo County High School. My name is Besheka Coleman, and I am a proud native of Yazoo City, MS. I graduated from Belhaven University and have dedicated myself to the field of education for 20 years, with the last 6 years as a certified teacher.

In my classroom, I strive to create a supportive and engaging environment where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed. I believe that each learner is unique, and my goal is to help them reach their fullest potential.

Outside the classroom, I have a passion for travel, reading, cooking, and baking. I also enjoy working part-time with mentally challenged women, which has provided me with a deeper understanding and appreciation for diversity in learning. Additionally, I am actively involved in my church community and love singing in the choir.

As we embark on this new school year, I am filled with excitement about the opportunities that lie ahead. Together, I look forward to fostering a strong partnership with you, the parents, to ensure our students thrive academically and socially.

Thank you for your support, and I can’t wait to meet each one of you!

    Warm regards,

    Besheka Coleman
