The ACT is a timed standardized test that is used by colleges and universities to determine admission and/or scholarships. It is broken into 4 required sections(English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science). Each Section in the following table is detailed with the amount of time given and the number of questions asked. Questions answered wrong are not held against the test taker, so guessing is recommended when time is running out. The 2nd table outlines the deadlines for registering for the ACT.
